This April, we’re walking in the Race for Autism SUPERHERO 5K at Balboa Park — not just for awareness, not just for a cause — but for our family.


Autism isn’t just a statistic to me. It’s early mornings and therapy appointments. It’s learning patience in new ways. It’s celebrating milestones that other people might overlook. It’s growth. It’s resilience. It’s strength.


1 in 31 children are diagnosed with autism. But to me, it’s not “1 in 31.”
It’s my children.


And I am so incredibly proud.
Proud of the progress.
Proud of the courage it takes to navigate a world that doesn’t always understand.
Proud of the brilliance, the uniqueness, the heart.
Proud to be their mom.


We’re walking to celebrate that journey — the challenges and the victories. We’re walking for acceptance, for support, for resources that truly make a difference for families like ours.


We named our team Alex & Bella’s Constellation because just like the stars in the sky, every child shines in their own way. And in our family, every star matters.
